GT1 project gets a new owner German February 09
Now that the car is fully repaired, I made plans for its return.  With the tightening of insurance regulations within the EU, I made inquiries regarding obtaining TüV approval and road registration in Germany.  The news I received was very bad - I was informed that under no circumstances would it be possible to obtain a road registration given the level on modification and use of 'non-TüV approved' parts.

After serious consideration, I decided that it was not going to be practical to keep the Project as a track only car.  The car was advertised and quickly sold to another German enthusiast.  It was a very hard decision, but at the time it seemed like the only way forward.
